Final Dissemination Conference in Como a great success

The Conference “Dimensions of Quality Assurance in Informatics Education 2011” that took place at Lake Como in Italy on 22-23 September 2011 was a great succes and provided an appropriate context for the celebration of the award of the 5 first Euro-Inf Quality Labels by EQANIE. The presentation of the Euro-Labels was the culmination of an intense one and a half day conference that was dedicated to the results of the Euro-Inf Spread project (2009-2011). Among others, a set of criteria for the certification of Educational Offerings in the area of informatics was presented. The conference was supported by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme.
