Workshop in Barcelona met with great interest

The Workshop “Accreditation for Degree Programmes in Informatics – Requirements, Procedures, Experiences” that was held in Barcelona on 25 October 2011 was received with a lot of interest: More than half of all Spanish HEIs were represented. Several representatives from Italian HEIs were also present to find out about and discuss requirements and procedures for applying for the Euro-Inf Quality Label. The workshop served in particular for a vivid exchange of experience as Prof. Silvana Castano shared her experience with the Euro-Inf accreditation process with the audience. The participants also discussed the role of learning outcomes in the accreditation process with the Chair of the EQANIE Accreditation Committee, Prof. Roland Ibbett.
