The membership applications of the Russian accreditation agency AKKORK (Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance and Career Development) as well as of the Romanian accreditation agency ARACIS (The Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education) have been positively assessed by the EQANIE General Assembly in July 2012
With the inclusion of these two agencies, EQANIE has extended its geographical range into the central and eastern European area and now counts 13 full members. Both new members have expressed a first interest in applying for authorization to award the Euro-Inf label in the future.
